Amsterdam 2021 Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship at the University of Amsterdam 2021
The University of Amsterdam (UvA) is pleased to announce the commencement of the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship award for highly talented prospective non-EU students with an excellent academic record and involvement in extracurricular activities. Applicants will be selected for the scholarship on the basis of their academic excellence and promised in the proposed field.

Scholarship Eligibility and Selection Criteria: To be considered for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship at the University of Amsterdam 2021, applicants are to meet the following criteria:
Applicants must hold a non-EU/EEA passport and be provisionally admitted to an English-taught Master’s degree programme at the University of Amsterdam which is registered in the Central Register of Higher Education Programmes (CROHO).
Applicants must be able to comply with Dutch visa regulations as indicated by the Dutch Immigration Service.
Applicants must be enrolled at the UvA as a full-time student for the academic year and the programme for which the scholarship is awarded. Scholarship continuation is not guaranteed when a candidate changes his or her Master’s programme.
Applicants should not receive another scholarship for the same period of study as the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship. Notify the UvA if you have been awarded and accepted another scholarship.
Application Procedures for the Amsterdam Excellence Scholarship at the University of Amsterdam 2021
Applicants are to apply for admission and scholarship simultaneously. Applicants are to present a letter of recommendation by a dean, teacher or academic supervisor.
Applicants are to submit a 500-word letter of motivation in which the candidate explains the reasons for choosing the specific Master’s programme. A proof of English proficiency should be attached during the application.
