The Authorities of the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, IAUE wishes to inform all matriculating students that they are directed to take note of the following instructions:

IAUE Matriculation Gown Collection Guidelines 2020/2021 [FRESHMEN]

  1. Gowns are to be collected from the Faculty Officers on presentation of receipt of payment of the sum of N5,000 for Matriculation Gown (Excluding transaction charges) from Wednesday 16th June, 2021.
  2. The gowns must be returned in good condition after the ceremony.
  3. The gowns must not be machine or hand-washed. Direct ironing on the fabric is not allowed, as this could cause damage.
  4. Missing or damaged gowns will be replaced at the cost of N20,000.00  (Twenty Thousand Naira) only per gown.
  5. All Part-Time students are requested to collect their matriculation gowns from the Centre for Continuing Education, but join their various Faculties in the procession and Matriculation.
  6. Matriculating students are to queue up Faculty by Faculty in front of the Auditorium by 9 a.m. in the following order:
    • Group 1
    • Faculties of Business Studies and Humanities
    • Time: 10.a.m.
    • Group 2
    • Faculties of Education and Social Sciences
    • Time: 11:30 a.m.
    • Group 3
    • Faculties of Natural and Applied Sciences and Vocational and Technical Education
    • Time: 1.00 p.m.
  7. Loitering on campus or around the Auditorium by Matriculating
    Students during the ceremony will not be tolerated by the University
