This is to inform all the fresh / newly admitted students of the Delta State University (DELSU) that the matriculation ceremony date, time, venue for 2021/2022 academic session has been released.
DELSU Matriculation Ceremony Schedule for Freshmen 2021/2022
DELSU Matriculation ceremony of fresh students has been scheduled for Saturday, March 19, 2022 simultaneously in all the Campuses of the University as indicated below:
- ABRAKA CAMPUS: 9.00 am
- Venue: Convocation Arena, Site III, Main Campus.
- OLEH CAMPUS: 11.00 am
- Venue: 1000 Capacity Lecture Theatre, Faculty of Engineering, Oleh Campus.
All Principal Officers of the University, Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, staff and students are hereby invited.
DELSU Matriculation Gown Collection Schedule & Guidelines 2021/2022
Consequently, all Faculty Officers are requested to visit the Senate Division as from Tuesday, March 15, 2022 for collection of academic gowns for their matriculating students.
Matriculating students should note that all gowns collected MUST be returned in good conditions to the Senate Division not later than Monday, March 21, 2022, failing which, the matriculants would pay a penal fee of Five Hundred Naira (N500) for each day the gown is retained; while a penal fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10,000) would be charged as cost of replacement for any gown not returned or damaged
Matriculating students should also note that on no account must they rent their gowns to photographers as the University Security operatives have been directed to impound such gowns found with unauthorized persons
