UNIMED Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Form:University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State (UNIMED) Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Admission Form, Courses, Requirements, Application Guidelines and Deadline for 2021/2022 Academic Session is out online

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the University of Medical Sciences, Ondo State various Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) and Professional Postgraduate Diploma (PPD) programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Available Courses

(A) POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMMES (Duration: One Year)

  1. Public Health 
  2. Parasitology and Pathobiology 
  3. Genetics and Forensic Biology 
  4. Environmental Health, Safety and Management 
  5. Medical Laboratory Sciences 
  6. Environmental Biotechnology 
  7. Data Sciences and Health Informatics 
  8. Biochemistry 
  9. Chemistry 
  10. Microbiology 
  11. Plant Biotechnology 
  12. Physics 
  13. Health Statistics 

Eligibility

  1. Holders of B.Sc. degrees of the University of Medical Sciences or any other University recognized by Senate. 
  2. Holders of Higher National Diploma in relevant disciplines. 
  3. Holders of relevant professional certificate that are recognized as HND equivalent 

(B) PROFESSIONAL POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA PROGRAMME (Duration: One Year)
Industrial and Environmental Management (with options In Environmental Pollution Control and Management, Food and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Industrial and Environmental Health Safety, Petroleum Geosciences and Environmental Conservation).

NOTE: There will be provision for both physical and virtual/online learning.

Eligibility

  1. Holders of B.Sc. degrees of the University of Medical Sciences or any other University recognized by Senate. 
  2. Holders of Higher National Diploma in Environmental Health together with work experience in the field. 
  3. Holders of other relevant qualification and/or substantial work experience in the field of Environmental Impact Assessment or Pollution Control will also be considered.

National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Discharge/Exemption Certificate are required for Postgraduate Diploma programmes. Such candidates must also advise their Institutions to forward copies of their academic transcripts to the Registrar, University of Medical Sciences, Ondo City, Nigeria not later than 3 weeks after this advertisement. 

Method of Application

Eligible candidates should log on to University website www.unlmed.edu.ng. Then. take the following steps: 

  1. Click on Admission
  2. Click on Programme of Choice: 
  3. Click on PAYMENT to make payment via online payment system using VISA or MASTER Card. Note that VERVE Card is not allowed; 
  4. After payment, Print Payment Receipt 
  5. Click on APPLICATION FORM with your Payment Transaction ID to complete the form.
